Only 20% of drivers show any signs of intoxication at the new 0.08 blood alcohol level, which means that 80% of motorists at 0.08 or 0.09 might be technically in violation of the law and not even know it! Worse still, breath testing equipment is not as accurate as the police want people to believe, and if the breath testing machine malfunctions, you might be facing a drunk driving charge even though you showed no signs of intoxication. If you haven't been able to get a copy of the card, you can download and print an Adobe pdf copy of the card. The actual Michigan DUI Rights Card comes on a heavy card stock and has a double-sided tri-fold card for keeping in your car, wallet or purse, but the card available online contains the same important information you need to know and understand in case you are stopped by the police. If you print this online version of the card as a double-sided document, you should be able to cut along the dotted line to form the tri-fold wallet sized card. |
